pretty much firefox is dead.
opera has great tabs, with a 1 or 2 addons it groups them very nicely.
IE has coloured grouping
its kinda sad when IE is looking better than firefox.
this tabkit2 for firefox 44.44 is looking like it could replace tabkit on firefox 3.6
maybe time will tell

The Firefox interface is a "webpage", or at least it is like a webpage with DOM attributes and the ability to manipulate it using javascript
Chrome is on the other hand a sandbox
I have NEVER seen any extension able to change Chrome's interface (especially the tab one)So it is impossible to make TabKit work on Chrome like it is on Firefox
P.S. I hate chrome for its memory usage and lack of many great extensions >:(

I'm with you as I wait out my Firefox Bloat Slowdowns. Color-coded TabKit is Best of the Best. Its like having a personal browser assistant! As soon as it becomes available for Chrome I am jumping ship!

They're working on it. But it won't be color coded. I sure hope they can make it tree'd though!

Sadly Chrome extensions are very limited in their customisation of the GUI - you can't change the rendering of tabs, and you can't even add sidebars!
I'm definitely keeping my eye on Chrome though...

IF and only if this is dev interesting please, dev, focus on chromium, and not the proprietary google fork, chrome. Give deference to the SRware fork, Iron, as it unlike chrome is PRIVACY centric
